Ryan Dean | Pastor of Student Ministries

Ryan Dean was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, by Christian parents who taught him to know and love the Lord. He attended college at the University of Georgia and graduated in 2003 with a degree in English. It was during his college years that Ryan first began working in the local church and sensing God’s call on his life to ministry.  During this time he also met and fell in love with Leslie, whom he married after graduation.

Ryan served Christ Church in Stone Mountain, GA for six years in the areas of Youth and Worship. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary-Atlanta in June 2009.  While in seminary, God began forming in Ryan a heart for multi-ethnic, city-based, Gospel-centered ministry. He and Leslie are delighted that God has given them the opportunity to live out that heart at Redeemer,

Ryan and Leslie are blessed with two sons, Evan and Levi.
